[Press release] Global Cyber Conference on 22-23 October 2025: Focus on the future of cyber resilience

Zurich, 04 March 2025

On 22 and 23 October 2025, the Swiss Cyber Institute invites high-level cybersecurity decision-makers, government representatives and leading experts from around the world to the fourth edition of the Global Cyber Conference at the renowned The Dolder Grand in Zurich. The theme of this year’s conference is “Future Resilience” and will focus on the most pressing challenges and innovations in the field of cyber security.

High-calibre topics and new formats

The Global Cyber Conference 2025 will highlight key topics in the cyber security landscape. Experts will discuss the growing threat of AI-driven cyberattacks that undermine traditional defences, as well as preparing for the quantum future as quantum computers threaten existing encryption.

Another topic is disinformation as a cyber threat that targets democratic processes, companies and critical infrastructures. In parallel, the cyber resilience of critical sectors such as energy, transport and healthcare will be discussed.

Regulation and innovation in cyber security will also be in the spotlight – a balancing act between security and technological progress. Securing global supply chains against cyber attacks is becoming increasingly important.

The use of AI in cyber defence will also be examined – both as a protective mechanism and as a potential attack tool. The handling of deepfakes will also be discussed, the spread of which is increasingly creating risks for companies and individuals.

Networking on the highest level

The Global Cyber Conference is known for its exclusive networking opportunities. The pre-conference networking event on 17 September 2025 at the Baur au Lac Hotel in Zurich offers participants the opportunity to make valuable contacts in advance and establish collaborations. This event was successfully introduced as a pilot project last year and will now be firmly established due to the positive feedback.

In addition, the new Networking Breakfasts on both days of the conference will provide even more opportunities for professional and informal dialogue. Another interactive highlight is the Hacker’s Escape Room, an exciting hacking session that combines playful learning and networking.

Swiss CISO Awards & Gala Dinner

A special highlight is the exclusive Gala Dinner on 22 October 2025, where the Swiss CISO Awards 2025 will be presented. This year, the event will be held at The Dolder Grand. Awards will be presented to pioneers in the cybersecurity industry in three categories: “Swiss CISO of the Year”, “CISO for Culture and Diversity” and “Future Leader”. A high-calibre jury of experts assesses the outstanding achievements of the nominees.

Why the Global Cyber Conference is a must-attend event

In a world where cyber threats are evolving rapidly, the Global Cyber Conference provides a unique platform for knowledge sharing, strategic collaboration and high-calibre networking. With over 400 expected participants, it is one of the most important cybersecurity conferences in Switzerland and Europe and a central point of contact for decision-makers who want to proactively arm themselves against cyber risks.
