Course objectives
By the end of the course you will be able to:
- Master the configuration of triggers, actions, and conditions in Power Automate Desktop, including parameterizing variables and handling dynamic file paths.
- Define and label at least five distinct user intents and corresponding entities, and create slot-filling routines to capture missing information in conversational flows.
- Develop and debug a three-stage orchestration in n8n, incorporating Function and SplitInBatches nodes to transform JSON payloads and process bulk records.
- Design and implement multi-application “Zaps” in Zapier AI that include filters, delays, and error-handling steps to ensure reliable data flow.
- Construct adaptive dialog trees in Landbot that leverage conditional branches and user metadata to personalize responses.
- Integrate OpenAI function calling within Google Vertex AI Agent Builder to perform PDF ingestion, field extraction via OCR, and automated summarization, then quantify latency and accuracy metrics.

Prerequisites
- Proficiency with a Windows PC and macOS/Windows user interface basics (for Power Automate Desktop).
- Familiarity with web applications and common SaaS tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, cloud storage).
- Basic understanding of business processes and workflow logic (e.g., “if–then” decision structures).
- Comfortable creating and managing user accounts in SaaS platforms (Zapier, Landbot, Chatfuel, n8n, Google Cloud).
- A valid OpenAI API key and willingness to navigate simple API integrations via no-code plugins.
